An impressive Norgall Award Winner 2019
On March 13, more than 110 members and guests met in the Hotel InterContinental Frankfurt to honor this year's award winner Prof. Chungja Agnes Kim. After the welcome by our President, Mrs. Albina Nazarenus-Vetter, City Councillor, conveyed greetings from the City of Frankfurt.
In her laudation, first Vice President Yong-Hi Yim-Siegels pointed out the individual life stages of the prizewinner. Prof. Kim has lived and worked in Karonga, a township in Malawi, since her retirement in 2010, where she supports AIDS orphans, children and young people by fostering their education And their talents. Her extraordinary commitment to the project "Chungja Agnes Kim, Her Love for Africa" impressed the club members and guests.
The festive award ceremony was dedicated to Korean culture and was rounded off by the musical supporting programme of violinist Heri Kang and pianist Joong Bae Jee, both from South Korea.
