Frankfurt is building the new Städel, the Friendship Ball 2010 of the International Women’s Club of Frankfurt and its members were dancing in three-four time for the Städel. On Saturday 20 February the President, Dr, Annemarie Moritz with Max Hollein, the Director of Städel, opened the Ball in the Casino of the Frankfurt Goethe University. 280 guests came to enjoy the Ball which had an alpine character (Max Hollein was born in Vienna and the President also comes from Austria).
The President, Dr. Annemarie Moritz was able to give the Director of Städel, Max Hollein a donation of 20,240 Euro at the end of the evening.
The floral decorations in red and white were, as always arranged by Blumen Priewe in Wiesbaden. The party service Huber from Bad Homburg took care of the buffet. The ladies’ gifts were sponsored by Parfümerie Albrecht.
The picture of Frankfurt painted by members of the Club was auctioned for 2,500 Euros. The artist Ferry Ahrlé acted as auctioneer (on the right of the photo).
The guests at Frankfurt’s first quadrille for all (as written in the FAZ) under the direction of Norbert Schmid, dancing teacher from Königstein.
